I posted earlier this year about our two-year-old’s two-word lesson for marketing, relationships, world peace, and everything.
Little did I know at the time the amazing synergy that two-year-old’s wisdom nugget had with one of the most popular TED talks of all time.
I was floored that the very same two words were part of Vulnerability/Shame expert Brene Brown’s conclusion (I tried to post it to-the-minute. If you’re scrolling, it’s at about minute 18) to a very popular TED talk.
I really hope this nugget of a nugget doesn’t steal her fire…
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Brene Brown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection.
As did Seth Godin.
The other funny bit to this funny (in a way) bit. We were watching the TED talk on our TV: there’s a TED channel on our Optik TV system. Very limited options for pause, rew & ffwd, in case you’re wondering…
And it doesn’t quite work for getting your two-year-old to sleep. Also in case you’re wondering…
Speaking of me-too moments, this recent post from the Good Men Project by a Dad of a 4-year-old daughter got me choked up.
Both these brilliant writers have me re-thinking the role of “cool” in my life.
What a fun bunch of folks to have a bit of “me too” with 😉

So now what do we have to say for ourselves?…
